Stained Glass Workshops and Retreats 2024
I offer private one day workshops and retreats including 2 nights accommodation at my home, Cerdyn Villa Guesthouse. Based in the Heart of Wales, surrounded by the largest area of outstanding beauty in the whole of the UK, Cerdyn Villa is situated in Llanwrtyd Wells, Powys. It is at the gateway to the Cambrian region and also on the edge of the Brecon Beacons and the Black Mountains.
Workshops and retreats are for small private groups. Come on your own or with up to 4 friends and enjoy some relaxed tuition, create something beautiful to take home and experience the warm welcome, Llanwrtyd Wells offers.
When you book for the day, all tools and glass are included as well as a light lunch, if you book a retreat, you get 2 mornings of delicious breakfasts too.

Private Stained Glass Day Workshop
9:30am – 4:30 pm (7 hours)
full day stained glass tuition for 1-4 people in private group. (9:30-4:30 includes coffee, light lunch & all materials.

Stained Glass Art Retreat (option 1)
2 nights B&B and 1 day in my workshop (total 7hrs private tuition) – copper foiling
arrival the afternoon evening before, breakfast 9:30-4:30 in workshop incl light lunch, breakfast on day of leaving All equip provided.

Stained Glass Art Retreat (option 2)
2 nights B&B and 2 days in my workshop (total 12 hrs private tuition) – option to do copper foiling or leading or both
2.5 hrs intro session on day of arrival (4-6:30). 9:30 – 4:30 in workshop on day 2 incl light lunch, 2.5 hrs on day of leaving (10-12:30). All equip provided.

Commissioning Stained Glass
Cost of making is dependent on a number of factors – complexity of design, number of pieces, type of glass. Assume £5 per cut piece.

There is an up front design fee of £75 which is deducted from final invoice if design is made by me
A scaling up fee (cutting plan) of £100 – £400 depending on size
